Coaching, Delegation And Monitoring Staff Performance

coach

One of the critical key responsibilities of a manager is coaching team members, delegating tasks and responsibilities as well as constantly monitoring staff performance to ensure that the team achieves high levels of performance.
Team leaders play an active role in guiding, supporting and motivating team members as individuals and in providing the same capabilities to the group as a whole.

Coaching is the continuous process of developing an individual’s performance by using day-to-day work experiences to provide planned opportunities for learning under guidance. The purpose of coaching is to help team members
acquire additional knowledge and develop new skills, as well as to provide feedback that will reinforce and improve current performance.

Delegating prepares employees who work for you to be able to handle your responsibilities and simultaneously allows you to advance to other career opportunities within your organization.

Research tells us that clear objectives ‘with effective measures’ can improve staff performance by over 30%. It’s difficult for managers to have ‘effective measures’ in place unless they monitor staff performance against the objectives. So how can managers monitor staff performance?

This program is designed to use case studies, role-plays and group activities to develop the competencies of managers and leaders in coaching, delegation and monitoring staff performance.
